Apex MD started inside health clubs, not inside a lab.
Founder and CEO Randall Hunt used medical wellness in his brick-and-mortar health clubs for over 20 years. His award-winning national chain served tens of thousands of people daily, and the volume made the need obvious: where metabolic imbalances were present, adding medical wellness optimisation produced results well beyond what clients expected from training alone.
He sold the chain in 2019 and began building the systems to bring those protocols to the masses. Apex MD now operates in over 100 wellness businesses across 40 states. SPENGA is one of them.
Randall Hunt
Randall grew up in Compton, California, teaching himself golf by hitting balls in a dirt field. On a full scholarship at Pepperdine, a car accident took the use of his right arm. After three failed surgeries he was told he would never use it again, so he set out to find new ways to reconnect brain to muscle tissue and invented proprietary techniques to get the arm working.
Knowing what poor health costs, he has dedicated his career to helping others reach the apex of their body’s health. His innovations have been used by the United States Olympic Training Center, Texas Health Resources hospitals and the world’s leading longevity medicine company.
He was appointed to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority board by the Governor of Florida, overseeing 30,000 employees and $4 billion in assets, and is a member of the Florida Council of 100.
